    Intérêts de recherche

    Mes domaines d’expertise sont les changements hémodynamiques et cardio-circulatoires qui surviennent lors de la grossesse normale et hypertensive. J’ai développé un intérêt pour les grossesses gémellaires et le retard de croissance. J’ai ainsi participé à l’élaboration du premier consensus canadien sur les grossesses gémellaires en étant la coordonnatrice du groupe de travail portant sur la croissance fœtale normale et pathologique. J’ai également participé aux deux consensus canadiens publiés sur l’hypertension en grossesse.

    En 1997, en m’appuyant sur mon expertise dans les pathologies cardiaques maternelles et de grossesse (soins intensifs obstétricaux, monitoring invasif), j’ai mis sur pied une clinique de suivi de cardiopathies maternelles et grossesse (unique au Québec) impliquant une équipe pluridisciplinaire.

    En 2006, en combinant ma formation et mes expertises, j’ai dirigé mes intérêts de recherche vers la programmation fœtale de la dysfonction vasculaire chez le retard de croissance intra-utérin dans le cadre d’une étude avec un modèle de grossesse gémellaire qui a été subventionnée par les Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada.
