    Sommaire de carrière

    La Dre Francine M. Ducharme est pédiatre et épidémiologiste clinique. Soignant les enfants asthmatiques, elle mène une carrière productive en tant que médecin, professeur et mentor de recherche. Elle a formé de nombreux scientifiques et médecins, dont plusieurs détiennent des postes universitaires en Australie, au Canada, aux États-Unis, en Irlande, à Porto Rico, au Koweït, et au Royaume-Uni. Ses travaux de recherche portent sur l’amélioration du traitement, de la prise en charge et de la morbidité de l’asthme pédiatrique. Elle a développé de nombreux instruments de recherche adaptés aux enfants, dont plusieurs sont maintenant utilisés en clinique pour épauler les professionnels de la santé, les chercheurs, ainsi que les enfants et leur famille à améliorer la prise en charge de l’asthme. Ses recherches portent sur des interventions de sensibilisation et médicamenteuses et celles visant à améliorer l’adhésion des professionnels de la santé, des patients et de leur famille aux lignes directrices.
