    Intérêts de recherche

    • L'étude des réponses immunitaires innées et développées chez les individus suite à une infection par le VIH ou les virus herpès, en particulier le rôle des cellules naturelles tueuses, des cellules dendritiques, des cytokines et des plaquettes.
    • Le développement d'un modèle animal pour l'étude de l'infection herpétique et le processus de tumorigénèse induit par cette infection chez l'homme et en particulier chez l'enfant.

    Je suis chercheur-boursier des IRSC. J'ai obtenu mon DVM et MSc (Hons) à l'Université d'Agriculture Faisalabad (Pakistan), et mon PhD à l'Université Cornell (Ithaca, NY, É.-U.). Mes projets de recherche sont subventionnés par les IRSC. Ces projets sont axés sur l'étude immunobiologique des infections par le VIH et les virus herpes chez l'homme.
