    Sommaire de carrière

    Farida Cheriet est professeure adjointe au département de génie informatique de l'École Polytechnique Montréal depuis juin 1999, membre du Centre de recherche du CHU Sainte Justine et membre régulier de l'Institut de génie biomédical. Elle est responsable du Laboratoire d'imagerie et de vision 4D (LIV4D) du Département de génie informatique de l'École Polytechnique Montréal et, suite à l'octroi récent d'une subvention de la FCI dans le cadre du programme de fonds de relève, mettra en place un nouveau laboratoire de vision active non invasive en orthopédie (LAVIANI) au sein du Centre de recherche du CHU Sainte-Justine. Ses intérêts de recherche concernent : l'imagerie médicale, le traitement d'images, la reconstruction 3D de structures anatomiques, la modélisation surfacique de structures anatomiques, la fusion d'images multimodales dans le domaine biomédical, les techniques de calibrage et d'autocalibrage de systèmes à rayons X.
